Metro Manila Ministries March Update:
(Marikina church) Last March 19 the summer tutorial class was started in Marikina chapel. Out of school children who do not know how to read and write were tutored by brother Steve Sepulveda.
Bible class was also conducted by brother Danni for the other group of kids. The kids will start studying the fundamentals of Bible reading.

Baptisms...God added two more souls in Marikina Church. Early Sunday morning Jun Santos who attended the gospel seminar last month decided to be baptized for the remission of his sins. Brother Danni immersed him before the start of Sunday worship service. Late Wednesday night at 11:00 p.m., another soul was baptized in Marikina after the midweek service in Cubao. Rodrigo Nova decided to obey the Lord in baptism.

WBS Students Visitation…Brother Danni and Steve went to Kasiglahan village in Montalban, Rizal last March 29. Kasiglahan village is a relocation place for people living in Payatas, smoky mountain before. Majority of the people living in this area were victims of smoky (garbage) mountain landslide. They were able to visit souls who are willing to study the Bible. Zenaida Pangan and Jane Alvero promised to attend the service at Marikina and to have weekly Bible study on their place. Ate Auring a member of Payatas congregation lives in that village and she is willing to help us establish regular Bible studies in the village. Muntinlupa Church:The first baptism we had this 2006 was last January 1, 2006 this was new year and a truly new life for two precious soul; Diony Salagoste and Nida Asis they were baptized in a resort in Los BaƱos Laguna. Diony is a SAF, special action force of the Police department. His family was from Zamboanga City, they moved to manila and finish schooling and work in the police department after finishing criminology. He was invited to the church to attend for the Bible studies and later on after understanding his lost condition without Christ, he submitted himself to baptism.

Nida Asis is a third year Education student. Her sister was one of my students when I was still teaching in college who became a Christian, she was encourage to study the Bible and after months of studying the word of God she finally decided to accept the Lord through baptism.
Last March 19, 2006 two first year high school students accepted the Lord through baptism. Kassandra Masa and Kristine Amor Macayan, both of them had been very active in the youth Bible studies. During our Bible studies Kassandra would ask about things she would discuss with her classmates in school like is the “rapture” biblical? what about the number “666” is it really the mark of the beast? What about astrology and horoscope can Christian rely on it? Though some of the questions needs lengthy explanation she was very patient in satisfying her curious mind and the good thing is she is eager to share it with her classmate who are denominational.

Kristine on the other hand is very active in assisting the children’s Sunday school teacher in singing and telling Bible stories to the children. She came from a Christian family though her father who is a soldier spent most of his time on call of duty and away from his family, her mother who is a an Elementary school teacher who has influenced Kristine to be interested in teaching children.

When we have come to the topic of knowing Christ, his sacrifices to save mankind, his Church, and the salvation through Him, these two teenagers wholeheartedly decided to accept Christ through baptism and strive to live a good example to other teenagers. We hope and pray that they would continue to be strong in the lord and continue to influence others to obey Christ.

These are some of the good fruit that the almighty God has bless Muntinlupa congregation, through your generous financial assistance to help us keep preaching the word of God. Thank you for being a channel of God’s blessings to us.
