"I say to you, lift up your eyes and look at the fields, for they are already white for harvest." (John 4:35b). Planting the seeds of God’s Word to every heart of lost souls is a precious responsibilities and devotion in the Vineyard of the Lord. God needs more planters in order to bring much fruits.
Metro Manila Campaigns…

A monthly meeting of the preachers in Metro Manila was held after the lunch fellowship provided by the host congregation. The leaders discussed the upcoming National Evangelism Workshop Seminar on December. They all agreed to finalize the committee that will handle on specific task. The regular monthly agenda was also discussed by the leaders and talks more about developing every activity of the Metro Manila Churches of Christ. The leaders also try to figure out on how to encourage some of the preachers who are not participating in monthly activities in bringing the Churches of Christ into next level.

Wedding...Another happy event in young people’s life is getting married.

Sad event on September 28, we were hit by a super typhoon, it was very strong that Metro Manila was black out no electricity, water and telephone lines were down, streets were flooded, thousand families have either lost their houses or their houses were badly damages, Many big trees were uprooted. In fact in Muntinlupa we have no water and electricity for 6 straight days, mobile phones were usable only till the batteries run out, we don’t have electricity to charge our batteries, some establishments with generators really enjoys it. At this time of my writing some places in metro manila have no electricity but the major areas have been fully restored and back to normal business. In the provinces of Luzon specially in southern part, many places still don’t have electricity because they still have to raise those fallen electrical post, it may take a little longer, however the good thing is they will be changed by new and durable post which will last for a long time.
Another sad thing, my mother who was operated last year with kidney problem has been hospitalized again last September 25 still with that same kidney problem, she was hospitalized for 5 days and my dad and mom decided to go out of the hospital for a number of reasons and one of them is financial, the medical expenses in just a few days is already 35 thousand pesos, we could only help very little because we don’t have much in fact we barely have enough, I wish I am rich so that I can be of help financially. My dad had been a gospel preacher all his life, receives little support and no medical insurance of course just like many local gospel preachers here in the Philippines they wanted also to have such insurances in preparation when they grow old its just that they don’t have the money to pay for it. This incident actually makes me think about our own situation, no insurances in preparation for old age if ever the lord allows me to live long life, its not that we don’t like it but simply we cannot afford it. Right now my mom is at home and we hope and pray that the medicine she is taking would be right to heal her sickness. When we went to Bicol to visit them, along the way we see the effects of typhoon Milenyo, and when we get there and stay for a few days, there was not electricity we were using candle lights, however before we left for Muntinlupa about 80 percent of electrical supply in Daet has been restored.
The van that I am using in our Bible studies and church activities has been needing maintenance for a long time but I don’t have the budget for it, now its injection pump, battery and tires needs replacement, I guess we just have to keep using it until its not usable, the good thing is that in spite of these minor difficulties our congregation in Muntinlupa is doing good with God’s blessings, we just try to do what pleases Him with the hope in our heart that He will always be with us, be protected by His mighty hand and we will all be with Him in due time in His heavenly kingdom.
The Lord is using you to inspire us in many ways to keep us going, thank you and may our Great God continue to bless you always.
In His service,
Greg Q. Gallardo, Jr.
